Lilian Vieira will be part of the musictheatre event “Wijksafari Utrecht” which is playing from 12 June till 13 July.
Wijksafari is a concept of Dutch theatremaker & actress Adelheid Rosen and an initiative of platform Zina. It’s a overwhelming location performance, which takes places in the neighborhoods Ondiep, Zuilen and Overvecht in Utrecht.
Reality is becoming theatre; you are actually beginning to doubt whether the neighborhood of Utrecht itself may be put in scene.

Last summer, pianist Gideon van Gelder and Lilian Vieira played together for the first time. For both of them it was a long cherished wish to play the repertoire of Toninho Horta, and it turned out very well. Because the audience was so enthusiastic, Lilian and Gideon decided to play more often together, and planned a small tour.

Lilian Vieira and drummer, composer, producer João Parahyba first met during the 
recording of Trio Mocoto’s album Beliza! Beliza! Beliza! in which Zuco103 participated. This fruitful, musical cooperation now get’s a follow up by Lilian Vieira, in a different setting in Brazil, supported by the funding of Central Cultura Brasil & Holanda.
Lilian Vieira started her solo project with a new band and musical inspiration from the Samba Soul.

Toninho Horta is one of the most important musicians and composers of the Brazilian classic music and jazz. Horta worked as guitarist and arranger of a lot of artists in Brazil, like Elis Regina, Joao Bosco and Sergio Mendes.
